Amazon sends invitations, which means…

If Amazon is sending invitations, You know what it means – it means new Kindle (or at least two time experience tells me so).

The internet giant has sent invitations to a press conference which will be held tommorow (Wednesday) at 10:30 ET. The meeting will take place at Pace University. As  Peter Kafka form All Things Digital points out this was an old HQ of  THe New York Times. So we have a university, a newspaper, Amazon….- seems that our predictions may be very right indeed.

Furthermore Business Week is writing that six US univeristies are partering with Amazon and important publishers to supply students with Kindels this fall.

Just a short round-up: Amazon is said to launch a new Kindle device which will have a bigger (9,7 inches) touch sensitive screen. It is believed to be aimed for reading newspapers and school books. We’ll see tommorow if those are correct.
